Honda's Hydrogen Car and the need of Hydrogen Fueling Stations
An obstacle, however, is the need of hydrogen-fuel filling stations. There are currently only few of them the U.S.
Hydrogen cars are set to become very popular with the news that we reported earlier that Honda are to mass produce the new FCX Clarity, as well as other automakers like BMW working hard on their hydrogen vehicle. This now means that fuel companies will now need to increase the amount of hydrogen fuel stations that they currently have. These fuelling stations are one of the most important factors for the success and future of hydrogen cars.

Japanese Robot Fight (videos)
Robo One
Robo-One is a robot competition category of bipedal humanoid robots. The first ROBO-ONE contest was held in Japan in 2002 and consisted of an initial judged autonomous "Demonstration" stage, followed by one-on-one matches. The robots are usually built with RC Servos as actuators and mounted together with sheet metal shapes. The most common frame material is aluminum. However, there have been entries constructed with steel, plastic, and even wood. Different sensors are used by the robot for balance and to perceive its surroundings. A small onboard micro controller or equivalent is used to control the robots movements and if the robot is autonomous it is also programmed to adjust the robots behavior in response to sensor inputs.

Space Solar Power
Pranav Mehta, the director of India operations for the California based solar space developer Space Island Group, envisions giant floating power plants, harvesting gigawatts of solar energy 22,000 miles in the sky and beaming it down to earth-based receivers. In his native India, where at least 700,000 megawatts of additional power is needed to meet the demands of its growing economy, space-based solar energy is certainly a prudent alternative for carbon-belching coal.
The one component that may not be familiar to the public is microwave transmitters that can "beam" electrical energy from point to point.
