Relational Pillow: Communicate Your Feelings Through Pillows
Pillows are not just those plush things that you use to rest your head on when sleeping, they also have a lot of other uses that are quite important. The serve as communication devices, like when you use it to swat your brother on the head when he is being an idiot.
MIT’s Ambient Intelligence Group members Sajid Sadi and Pattie Maes in collaboration with Amir Mikhak created the Relational Pillow which is adding an interactive, relation enhancing dimension to a pillow.

The pillows are capable of sensing touch information, and displaying incoming touch data as a pattern of lights that show the outline "drawn" upon the remote pillow. Pillows can connect to each other over the network so that this sense of touch can be shared across long distances.
