While a number of publishers have been pushing games out of the fourth quarter at an alarming rate, Sony has revealed that one of its more adorable projects will be hitting store shelves later this year. Though an exact release date hasn't been announced, the EyePet will be coming to North America sometime this holiday season.

It features various capabilities, including PlayStation Eye, the next-generation camera for PS3, which captures an on-screen picture of the actual room EyePet is in.
